Re: “Island Liberal candidate talked of 9-11 ‘lie,'” Sept. 26.
As a Jesuit-trained modern historian with years of experience working in construction, I am in solidarity with Maria Manna when she asserts, quite reasonably, ‘”I don’t believe that a plane going through a building could bring down the whole building (on its own).'”
Three huge skyscrapers, and not just ‘the Twin Towers’ were somehow brought down on that day, including Building 7, which was not hit by a jet.
Architects and Engineers for 911 Truth is the group to which Liberal candidate Manna refers, and they provide documented evidence that the official history is riddled with lies and omissions.
Since Manna admits that she still questions ‘how a single airplane could cause the entire structure to collapse,’ one wonders why the supposedly offensive Facebook post was removed.
Could the CBC’s over-zealous researchers and Liberal leader Justin Trudeau be putting pressure on Liberal candidate Maria Manna, thus effectively defending the lies and omissions of the 911 Commission?
